Employment at the PBC

The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) is an independent administrative tribunal and part of the Public Safety portfolio within the Government of Canada.

We are a dynamic employer and offer both a challenging workplace and rewarding career opportunities.

PBC employees are made up of both Board Members (Governor in Council appointees) who render decisions on conditional release and pardons, and Public Service employees who are responsible for corporate functions in such areas as policy, operations, planning, research, appeals, pardons and clemency, professional development and training, human resources, communications, and support for decision-making.

Our Board Members and Public Service employees work out of the PBC's National Office in Ottawa, as well as in regional offices across Canada.

We invite prospective employees to explore the PBC's Web site for more information on who we are, what we do, and why we are considered an employer of choice.
